CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES

Parkside offers many different programs for your children to enjoy, from Mission Kids for the youngsters ages 3 and up, to Team Kids for those from 3^rd to 6^th grade and Children’s Church to teach the youngsters what worship is all about.

Children’s Church is on Sunday mornings.

YOUTH MINISTRIES

Parkside Baptist Church has a very active Youth group. Our young men and women have enjoyed going on mission trips, visiting nursing homes to give manicures to the elderly, doing yard work, and planting flowers, as well as going to exciting concerts such as “Go Fish.”

The main focus of our youth group is their interactive Bible Studies that involve and challenge teens on everyday issues and how to be a Biblical Christian in today’s world.

ADULT MINISTRIES

Parkside has some of the finest and most dedicated Adult teachers in the area. Behind such leaders as Charlie Wiggins, Paul Jones, Willa Smith, Lynne Sackett and Diann Dill, our Adult Bible Study Dept. will meet the needs of any student of the Bible.

Not only does our Adult Department offer age-graded studies from young 20-something adults to senior adults, but there are also other interesting classes; such as Bible Characters and Applied Bible Studies from which people can choose.

MUSIC MINISTRY

The music ministry of Parkside consists of a group of dedicated and skilled musical professionals. Joe Hazelton and Steve Geldean are the pianists, Lynne Sackett is the guitarist, and Callie Sackett is our flutist.

Our music program covers a broad spectrum of music traditional hymns, southern gospel, and contemporary praises. Using congregational singers, Praise Teams, Adult Choir and soloists.

QUILTING MINISTRY

The ladies of our church also have a very active quilting group that meets on Monday mornings at 9:00 AM.

Their projects have gone to Veterans and Nursing homes in the local area, various disaster sites within the United States, as well as traveling to South America, the Far East and other parts of the world to minister to the needs of hurting people.

DRAMA MINISTRY

Parkside has an engaging and exciting Drama Team. They do a variety of different ministry activities from traditional drama and skits, to tableaus (frozen scenes) and monologues.

This ministry offers many different areas in which a person can serve God and enlighten the congregation.

PUPPET MINISTRY

Puppets R Us! Well not exactly, but we do make our own puppets. This exciting ministry will excite you, challenge you and cause you to grow, as you tell the Bible story with music, props and puppets.
